Racism and stereotyping unfortunately continues to exist, although not as extreme. It only creates hostility between people and that's the last thing we need. No matter where you come from, what you look like, or even how much money you make, we all possess the same qualities and values. No one is more noble than the other.

Animal abuse is a phenomenon that happens all around the world. In the US alone, over 17,000 cases of animal abuse were reported in 2012. This doesn't take into account the hundreds, perhaps thousands of animal abuse cases that go unreported. It is important to spread awareness of this issue because it is prevalent in all forms of society, and if it is seen it should be reported. Animals may not have a voice, but they do have feelings and they can feel pain. Every animal deserves a home, but not every home deserves an animal.

Anxiety disorders have become a leading issue in the United States especially amongst young adults.
About 8 percent of teens in the U.S. 13-18 years of age suffer from an anxiety disorder. Only 18 percent of those teens receive mental health care. If you or somebody you know has an anxiety disorder or shows symptoms of it seek help, because nobody deserves to suffer in silence.

Se Min Park - Issue Project
With the amount of technology and smartphones advancing, more and more pedestrians are getting them which cause them to be prone to injury while being on their phones while walking. Tens of thousands of pedestrians report injured to the emergency room and as much as 10% of them are cases related to an accident while the patient is unaware while on their phones. With a little bit of awareness and realization, many accidents can be prevented.

Schaun Kempton- Issue project
I did my project on same sex marriage. I decided to do this because same sex marriage has been a growing issue in society, and personally I fully support it. Lately there have been states that have legalized same sex marriage, but there are still a lot that are against it. Netherlands was the first to legalize same sex marriage, while Hawaii and Alaska were first to ban it.

Anorexia is a type of eating disorder that makes a person fear of gaining weight even if they are underweight. Anorexia can be from starving yourself or exercising too much. I chose this issue because the percentage of people developing anorexia has increased. I believe this is because of judgement from people in schools and on social media. People think in order to be beautiful you have to be skinny, but that is false.

My triptych is about minimum wage. There are over 25 million wage workers in the United States of America. Which means their will be 25 million people in debt for their whole life. Minimum wage is not an acceptable living wage, especially when you take into account that the workers also may have kids. If more companies payed their workers living wage, there would be less hunger, poverty, and theft.

My photo is a triptych on the issue of hunger. some facts on the issue of hunger is 13.1% of the world is in hunger, and their is enough food for everyone on this planet but those people don't have the land or money for it. and lastly in 2010, 20,000 children died from hunger.
