Erik Smith Issue Project

In this project I tried to emphasize one of the issues that women face in everyday society. As you can see no matter what she wears or how she presents herself, she can never make everyone happy. She is always going to be criticized. This is important because so many people live in a way where they try and make everyone happy and then lose their personality and who they really are. I think as a society its necessary to recognize we are all just human beings, trying to make it somewhere in the world. And that hating and criticizing says less about the person being ridiculed, but rather, more about the person doing ridiculing. What's in the well comes up in the bucket. Meaning that what you say really does show where your heart is.

My issue project is about stranger danger. It is important for people to always be aware of their surroundings and to know how to defend themselves. These practices could help prevent assaults, robberies, and even abductions.

My issue is about relationship problems. The reason why that this is important to me is that I always see people being together and they show each other how they feel. But when weeks past and that couple broke up, because the reason was one of them cheated on the other. To me, usually we are growing up way to fast and we should make our time now on being young. No one should go through that.

My Issue is cyber bulling.  It causes more harm than someone would think. What could seem like a  harmless text or comment could hurt someone mentally, leading them to make it physically. It is important to me because the image above isn't an exaggeration. I've seen something similar happen to my friends and family.

My issue is depression. It is important to me because I have seen the affects it has had on people and their lives, and some people don't realize how much it consumes a person.
